CartSwipe billing terms

These terms cover CartSwipe’s checkout assistance fees. The retailer charges you separately for merchandise.

Version 2026-09-09-v1

Billing follow-up is not switched on yet. Until it is, CartSwipe sends no overdue notices, adds no late fee and removes no access automatically. The terms below describe how billing follow-up works once it is switched on. Until then, message the owner in the CartSwipe Discord with billing questions, including cancellations.

Your service-fee invoice

CartSwipe charges the agreed service fee per successfully purchased item and combines your checkouts into one invoice per drop. Your invoice shows the products, quantities, and service fees. The merchandise purchase price is not the basis for a CartSwipe late fee.

Payment deadline and late fee

  1. Payment is due 48 hours after the invoice is sent. If sending is delayed, you receive extra time so you always have at least 48 hours after confirmed sending. Your Billing page and private Discord channel show the deadline, including any extension, in Eastern Time.
  2. If payment is not confirmed by the deadline, your account is overdue. CartSwipe notifies you privately and the owner manually pauses your retailer accounts, across all retailers, in CartSwipe’s checkout software until the overdue balance is resolved.
  3. After seven full Eastern calendar days following the due date have elapsed, CartSwipe applies a one-time 1.5% late fee to the unpaid CartSwipe service-fee balance. The late fee is not repeated or compounded. If an approved adjustment gave you a new pay-by deadline, the fee is not applied automatically: the owner may apply the same one-time fee only if the balance is still entirely unpaid, with no payment processing, seven full Eastern calendar days after that updated deadline. An adjustment that keeps your original deadline leaves this schedule unchanged.
  4. The updated invoice and final private-channel notice show the late fee separately, the remaining balance, and the final pay-by deadline. The updated invoice prints its own due date, which is never earlier than a deadline already given to you. You then have seven further full Eastern calendar days following the final notice date to pay.
  5. If the balance remains unpaid after the final deadline, CartSwipe checks payment status and automatically removes Discord and CartSwipe portal access. Payments still processing and invoices held for review pause penalties and removal. A review hold does not disable a payment link Stripe already emailed to you. CartSwipe keeps your invoice records as the Privacy policy describes. If the payment link Stripe emailed you no longer works, message the owner in the CartSwipe Discord or email support@cartswipe.app for a new one.

The calendar day containing the due time or final notice is not counted in its seven-day period. Eastern Time automatically follows EST and EDT. Exact dates are provided with each notice.

Cancellation proof and fee adjustments

If you or the retailer cancels items, submit a screenshot of the retailer’s order page or cancellation email in your private Discord channel with the owner. The screenshot must show the order, canceled items, quantities, and cancellation status. Hide unrelated addresses and payment information.

The owner must verify the proof and approve the adjustment. Approved canceled quantities have their service fees removed before invoicing or adjusted after sending while the invoice remains unpaid. Any related late fee is corrected, and an adjustment never adds another late fee.

  • If the owner approves an adjustment after your payment deadline has passed, or when your deadline is too close to keep, the corrected invoice prints a later due date and you have at least seven full Eastern calendar days after the corrected invoice is sent to pay the remaining balance, never less than a deadline already given to you. Your original deadline stays on record. While a corrected invoice is being prepared, you are told privately to wait for it and no late fee or access removal applies. A manual pause of your retailer accounts that is already in place stays until payment or the owner’s resolution review. Resending the same corrected invoice does not start another period.
  • If an adjustment would leave a balance under $0.50, which Stripe cannot collect, the owner may waive that remainder. The waiver is recorded separately as a write-off, and your canceled and purchased items stay listed as they were.
  • If you pay the earlier, higher amount after the owner approved a cancellation while the invoice was unpaid, the owner reviews the payment, and the difference is refunded by default, normally to your original payment method, including any part of a late fee that the corrected balance would not carry. The difference is refunded, not kept as account credit. This is the only refund this cancellation policy provides: cancellations first approved after you paid are not refunded.
  • A corrected invoice replaces the payment link Stripe emailed for the earlier one; if a link no longer works, message the owner in the CartSwipe Discord or email support@cartswipe.app for a new one. A review hold does not disable a payment link already emailed to you.

Your private channel and payment status

Your private Discord channel with the owner and CartSwipe Helper is used for setup, checkout and invoice details, questions, cancellation proof, and payment warnings. Discord users with Administrator permission can also access private channels.

Confirmed payment clears the overdue restriction when no other overdue invoice remains. The owner is notified to review manually resuming retailer accounts. Paying after access removal does not automatically restore membership or portal access.

Acceptance opens when billing follow-up is switched on.
